When you walk in to Fancy Frox you will be amazed at the amount of beautiful evening gowns we stock. We regularly get customers who say, "This is wonderful" or "I wish I had known you were here before". We originally opened with one purpose in mind - to supply the best choice of gorgeous evening gowns. Since then we have branched into other special occasion wear, however evening gowns are still the heart of our business.
Everything in our shop is arranged in size order, this way our customers know straight away what is available to them. We deal with many different designers and prefer to select appropriate styles across each size rather than stocking multiples of just a few different dresses. In this way we can ensure that the choice we provide is always varied in terms of colour, style, cut and price.
We stock different designers for different reasons, some for example carry stock and introduce new styles throughout the year, this means we can constantly update the choice and variety of our evening gowns. In fact we tend to get deliveries in every couple of days so there is always something new to see.
The labels we carry also tend to have different price points. We try to make sure we have something for every budget and currently our customers can purchase an evening dress for as litttle as £70 or spend up to £850 if they wish to. Different labels also cover different size ranges and utilising over 30 designers we provide evening wear from a size 4 up to a size 32. Dresses outside of this range are available to order.
One important point is that most of the labels we deal with are exclusive to independent retailers - this means they will not be found in abundance at department stores.
If you have ever turned up to an event and found someone else is wearing the same dress then you will appreciate how important this is! In order to minimise the risk of this happening we carry very limited amounts of each style - generally one, sometimes two, and very rarely three or four.
Furthermore we record the dresses that have been sold for all our local or well known events and guarantee that we will not sell the same dress to any event even if it's in a different colour.
The pictures you see here are only a tiny representation of what we have in stock and of course there is no better way to choose a dress than to see it properly and try it on. To pick your perfect dress you need to find out what suits you and this involves choosing the right style, cut and colour. Different body shapes will look best in certain cuts, the style should reflect your personality and the colour should complement your colouring.
At Fancy Frox you are welcome and encouraged to try on as many dresses as you like to help you decide what looks the best. If you already know what you want then we will do our very best to help you find it.
We also offer a professional alteration service in house so if you find a dress you like you can rest assured that any alterations required (length and straps are frequent occurrences) can be completed quickly and properly.
